Switch it up.
You're good to go wherever you go with the innovative 2WD/4WD drive mode system. Switch into 2H mode and you have the efficiency of high-range rear-wheel drive on normal roads. If things get a little tricky, like slippery surfaces such as mud, sand, or wet roads, you can switch to 4H under 80km/h for better traction.
When conditions get a bit more challenging, the 4L mode delivers low-range four-wheel drive. This is useful when you're faced with situations like steep inclines, towing, or navigating tough obstacles, with electronic stability control disabled to deliver raw power and control.
On the open road or heading off-road, the JAC T9 has the mode for whatever the conditions.


Above and beyond.
The JAC T9 literally lifts the driving experience. It brings a maximum wading depth of 650mm, which matches the best in the market. The ride height is higher, so you not only get better road visibility but also plenty of headroom and space for everyone in the cabin. Whatever the elements, the T9 tackles it with grace and ease.
Get a grip.
When the going gets tough JAC T9 Ute gets going. The rear differential lock lets you take on the most challenging conditions. When you're faced with slippery surfaces or tough trails, the rear diff lock kicks in. Both rear wheels receive equal torque, giving you the traction you need to power through. You have the versatility across all driving modes; 2H, 4H, or 2L, operational up to speeds of 40km/h.

Autonomous Emergency Braking
The Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system is designed to enhance driver safety by automatically initiating emergency braking if it detects a potential collision with the vehicle ahead. Once activated, this function aids in mitigating accidents, providing an extra layer of security on the road.
Lane Departure Warning
Lane Departure Warning (LDW) is an innovative safety feature that activates between 60-120km/h. Utilising a front camera to monitor road markings, it alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to stray from its lane, enhancing road safety through real-time monitoring and warnings.
Emergency Lane Keeping (ELK) functions under medium and high-speed conditions to prevent collisions. If there's a risk of hitting a guardrail or another vehicle, ELK proactively adjusts the steering to avert accidents, significantly reducing collision risks by steering intervention.

Forward Collision Warning (FCW) is a critical safety mechanism that becomes active at speeds over 30km/h. It issues an alert to the driver when an imminent collision with a vehicle or pedestrian is detected, serving as an essential reminder to take preventive action, thereby enhancing the safety of both the driver and others on the road

Rear Collision Warning
Rear Collision Warning (RCW) enhances vehicle safety by issuing an alarm alert when it's activated and detects an approaching vehicle from behind at a high speed, indicating a potential risk of a rear-end collision. This function serves as a crucial preventive measure, helping to alert the driver to take necessary actions to avoid an accident.
Speed Limit Assist
Speed Limit Assist (SLA), coupled with Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR), offers a sophisticated safety feature. Once activated, it identifies speed limit signs and enables an overspeed alarm. Should the driver exceed the identified speed limit, indicator lights on the dashboard will flash, and an alarm will sound, prompting the driver to decelerate. This integration of technology ensures adherence to speed regulations, enhancing road safety

Rear-Autonomous Emergency Braking
Rear-Autonomous Emergency Braking (R-AEB) utilises four ultrasonic radar sensors and two-millimetre wave radar sensors located at the vehicle's rear to detect stationary obstacles and low-speed crossing targets, including pedestrians and vehicles while reversing. Should it calculate a risk of collision and the driver fails to brake, the system automatically applies the brakes to halt the vehicle, significantly lowering the risk of impact. This function is instrumental in enhancing safety during reverse manoeuvres.


Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) enhances safety by illuminating a warning light on the external rear-view mirrors if there is a potential collision risk from vehicles approaching from either side while reversing out of a vertical parking space. Additionally, the system takes control of vehicle braking if it detects a risk of collision with pedestrians or vehicles from behind, actively reducing the risk of accidents. This function is vital for ensuring safer reversing manoeuvres in crowded areas.
Traffic Jam Assistant
Traffic Jam Assistant (TJA) operates effectively when Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) are activated. In congested traffic, TJA autonomously controls the vehicle's start, stop, and deceleration, along with minor directional adjustments, ensuring the vehicle remains centered in its lane while following the vehicle ahead. This functionality also includes a cruising feature, acting as an auxiliary system to alleviate driver fatigue during stressful traffic conditions.

Blind Spot Detection (BSD)
Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Lane Change Assist (LCA) work in tandem to enhance driving safety by illuminating blind spot icons on the side mirrors when vehicles are detected in the blind spot area or are quickly approaching from adjacent lanes on either side. This system, operational at speeds above 20km/h, serves as a critical alert mechanism to warn the driver of potential side or rear collisions during lane changes, significantly reducing the risk of accidents.


Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) allows for automatic adjustment of the vehicle's speed to match that of the car in front, requiring the driver to activate the system via the steering wheel's cruise control buttons and pressing SET. Similarly, Intelligent Cruise Control, when engaged, not only maintains the vehicle centrally within the lane but also automatically modulates its speed to follow the lead vehicle closely, offering a seamless and safer driving experience.

Hill Start Assist Control
Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) is designed to prevent the vehicle from slipping backwards on steep inclines by maintaining brake pressure for approximately 2 seconds. This functionality operates in both Drive and Reverse gears, enabling the driver to smoothly transition from brake to accelerator without the worry of rollback, thus enhancing control and comfort during uphill starts.
